Bill Hearne, along with his wife and former (and still sometimes occasionally) playing partner Bonnie is a legend among country/folk music afficionados in the west and southwest, particularly in Texas. Luminaries such as Lyle Lovett and Nanci Griffith have sung on Bill and Bonnie's CDs and had them open numerous live shows. Bill continues to delight audiences around his home town of Santa Fe and throughout the southwest, performing as a solo artist and as a duo and trio, sometimes with Bonnie joining in. Sometimes referred to as a "Southwestern Doc Watson", Bill's brilliantly fluid guitar work has amazed guitar players for decades.
